The summer reading books for Centralia High School students are on the shelf in the Teen Room…as this is being typed. There are a limited number of each book. Students are encouraged to put the book they need on hold so if a Centralia Library copy is not available one might be borrowed from another library for the student to check out. All of this takes time, so please do not wait until late July or August to try and get the book you need to read for English class before school starts this fall.
A Centralia Regional Library District card is needed to place holds and check out materials. Youth under the age of 18 need a parent/guardian with them to get a card. If you have any questions regarding a card or placing a hold, call circulation staff at 532-5222 ext 0. If you already have a card, go to the library catalog through this website at https://search.illinoisheartland.org/search/default.aspx?ctx=31.1033.0.0.3&type=Browse to place a hold.
