Mental health is important for all ages throughout the entirety of life as it affects every aspect of our lives, from the way we feel to the way we act–it even affects our physical health! So in honor of National Mental Health Awareness Month, the Library will be hosting a Mental Health Fair for all ages, set up in the Youth Department upstairs in the library building (accessible by elevator).
This fair includes resources from local mental health care centers, mental wellness kits, activities for children, and blank buttons for everyone to decorate in a way that makes them happy. Participants will also be able to spin a wheel for a chance to win prizes, including a Hoberman Sphere–also known as a breathing ball!
Once you’re done with the fair, head on over to the Monken Activity Room where the Friends of the Library is hosting their Used Book Sale from 10AM to 1PM.
