Representatives from the Illinois State Treasurer’s office and the State of Illinois Comptroller’s office will be in the Library Reading Room on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 10:30am to 12:30pm to assist you in checking if the State is holding any money owed to you through its ICASH program.
The State Treasurer is holding more than 3.5 billion dollars in unclaimed funds for Illinoisans. The State holds these funds until they are claimed by either the original owner or their heirs. Your property will be returned at no cost with the proper identification, so drop in Thursday to see what you are owed!
