For our March 2023 book club meeting for adults, we will be reading The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
Between life and death there is a library, and within that library, the shelves go on forever. Every book provides a chance to try another life you could have lived. To see how things would be if you had made other choices . . . Would you have done anything different, if you had the chance to undo your regrets?
Our meeting will be on Tuesday, March 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Library’s Reading Room. This meeting will be informal and there will be goodies for newcomers and a chance to discuss books we would like to read for future meetings. We will let book club members in starting at 6:00 p.m. If the door is locked, please knock loudly and we’ll let you in. You must have a completed member form on file to be permitted in the building.
Reading should be done before the meeting so we can discuss the book, but you do not have to finish the book or even read it! If you prefer a digital or audio format (or a summary book), check our digital collections found at the top of this page for a copy.
If you are interested in becoming a Book Club member, please fill out our member form. You do not need to be a member of our library to join our book club, but if you are and would like for us to put the book on hold for you, be sure to include your library card number. You do not need to come to every meeting to retain membership. Once you’ve signed up, join our Facebook Group to get member-only content like polls about what we read!
We’ll see you March 21!
