For our April 2023 book club meeting for adults, we will be reading not one but two books! One nonfiction, one fiction. You are welcome to read one or both:
The Feather Thief by Kirk Johnson (True Crime)

Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boylan (Mystery)
A riveting novel of suspense, an unforgettable love story, and a moving and powerful exploration of the secrets we keep and the risks we take in order to become ourselves.
Our meeting will be on Tuesday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Library’s Reading Room. This meeting will be informal and there will be goodies for newcomers and a chance to discuss books we would like to read for future meetings. We will let book club members in starting at 6:00 p.m. If the door is locked, please knock loudly and we’ll let you in. You must have a completed member form on file to be permitted in the building.
If you would like for us to put either or both books on hold for you, please contact the Library with your choice. Reading should be done before the meeting so we can discuss the books, but you do not have to finish the books or even read them! We want this to be an accessible club and know that it can be hard to finish reading books for many reasons. If you prefer a digital or audio format (or a summary book), check our digital collections found at the top of this page for a copy.
If you are interested in becoming a Book Club member, please fill out our member form. You do not need to be a member of our library to join our book club, but if you are and would like for us to put the book on hold for you, be sure to include your library card number. You do not need to come to every meeting to retain membership. Once you’ve signed up, join our Facebook Group for insider knowledge of the club!
