Centralia Regional Library District encourages all community members to visit the Library during National Library Week, April 23-29, to explore all it has to offer and to take part in the library’s Virtual Library Crawl.
Most people know about the wealth of stories available at the library, from picture books and large print books to audiobooks and eBooks… but there’s so much more to the story of libraries.
Libraries are welcoming spaces that bring communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through year-long programming. Centralia Regional Library offers a wide array of programs, classes, and resources, including a monthly Book Club for adults, crafts and craft classes, life skill classes, preschool story times, author talks, and much more.
And libraries play a critical role in the economic vitality of communities by providing internet and technology access, literacy skills, and support for job seekers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. Centralia Regional Library District supports the community with services such as mobile Internet hotspots for checkout, computer and WiFi access, resume help, and low-cost printing/copying.
If you haven’t checked out Centralia Regional Library lately, you’re missing the full story. Stop by for a visit to celebrate with staff during National Library Week, April 23-29. The Virtual Library Crawl will be available to do at the Library or remotely. Other activities during the week include recognizing library staff on April 25 for National Library Workers Day, Take Action for Libraries Day on April 27, and a Local Author Fair on April 29.
